Purpose & Need

The purpose of this study is to evaluate and address the need for a connector road between the Beech Fork Marina and the campground. Additional goals include improving safety, access, and connectivity while supporting visitor experience.

Currently travel between these two key destinations takes an average of 30 minutes. With increasing tourism and recreation rates in West Virginia, there is potential to capitalize on these trends and increase visitation if warranted.
