This project corrected sight distance issues to reduce failure to yield crashes at the existing at-grade crossing for Upper Valley Pike (CR 327), CR 85 (Storms Creek Road), CR 15, and TR 117 (County Line Road). Approximately 1500’ of pavement was replaced to realign the intersection. The existing single span prestressed box beam bridge over Storms Creek, southwest of the intersection, was replaced with a 42’ span precast three-sided arch culvert supported on footings with piles. Traffic was detoured during construction. Other work included superelevation tables, intersection details, driveway details, traffic control, and right-of-way plan development.
